Hmmmm... So after the battle with Hades we have the parts of Argen taken to create Cinar, and then whatever was left of Argen. So one regenerates into Argen and the other becomes Argenesis. Guessing our new Argen is a reformatted Cinar, that explains why Argenesis has so many new components. But did he pull himself together or did someone rebuild him?

TJ, you might be onto something! To go along with your theory, I'd put my money on Argenesis being a viral entity that can "possess" accessory builds. Maybe it's even a manifestation of the Villser virus that's merged with the more aggressive side of Argen's psyche...

You're right on point with this Kranix. Villsers corrupt and absorb other entities, right? After continued use of Axis technology that allowed him to evolve his own abilities he did become someone, or something, else.

Very interesting. Could the reason be because Buildman components are inferior to his preferred mix of Hub/Swing/Axis/Phase/Glyarmor technology? Are those accessory upgrades easier to manipulate? Does the Buildman itself have an underlying system that combats this type of corruption completely taking over? If so, it'd explain why Argen didn't further evolve until he was no longer in that vessel. That leads me to Cinar, who was created from parts of that vessel.

Is Cinar a new/unique individual or is he the one true Argen that's been reset and purged of the corruption? Would that mean that the Argenesis entity isn't Argen and is in fact a parasitic manifestation?

It looks like maybe we have a split: Argenesis is the Argen that is derived from the original's core programming, freed from the Gendrone body, and the current Argen may be Cinar or the original Argen's reactivated body. Axis Joint technology might even be involved, with the Gendrone components potentially allowing Argen some control over the Villser virus, whereas Argenesis is completely able to spread his influence via the unrestrained tech.

Keep in mind that we still haven't seen any Phaseon and Gobon Axis Joint enhancements...

Let us not forget that Argen came back w/ the Gendrone alliance alongside Villser.

Here's hoping we're onto Argen's redemption arc!

Oh! What if Argens mind split in two post Hades; one half being the evil virus(Argenesis), which corrupts and conquers varies machines of the glyos-verse; the Spectre Virus if you will. The second being the husk left from the Villser leaving the Buildman; being reprogrammed into the alliance Argen. If this the case, the conflict of “Who is the real Argen?” would begin to develop.

I've always had the theory that the Revenant versions of Argen and the Villser were supposed to represent their 'data' forms. After reading the blog discussion, maybe that wasn't so crazy.

I know I'm a party pooper, but it's because previously we've gotten Argenesis only when a buildman mold wasn't run. The Argen X head is in one of the accessory molds, so Matt can run accessories only and make an Argenesis out of it without needing to run the buildman mold to stick the head onto.

I had to do that with Gotherrus, she keeps it on her desk at work. Now she's eyeballing my Mk 1 Standard Sarvos... that one is substantially harder to find one to spare.

I wish I could have gone nuts on this drop but money is really tight at the moment. Got enough for Argenesis vs Rig Killer Argen. I was hoping Gendrone Alliance meant we'd see Argen and Enyriun Voltron together to stop a threat, did not expect it to be Argenesis though. Had to get Phanost of course, that Sarvos is going to be amazing looking.

Not a bad guess. Also, one thing that's great about all the Adventure People homages? The new Traveler tampos are pretty universally rad. I actually wonder if there's one underneath Cypracor's armor.

That'd be awesome to see and I don't think its far-fetched, we definitely could get that next year soon. I've wanted paint masked swings since they debuted so I had to grab this Argenesis. Makes it that much better that its on a great PVC Color choice too.

Agreed, I remember just couple years back clicking on store link for the first time and seeing a plethora of strange and facinating figures in various colors and builds. Good to see that there’s still a chance than when someone new comes they can have the same discovery, maybe be able to choose he single figure or two that really sparks their imagination and interest. Too often I like to just check in on the store to see what’s still there. I’m glad to see that these last two drops have held out. The previous not all sold out until their new drop.

Also gotta say, I’ve loved the return of the extra set and in particular the return of Phanost. We’ve seen two Phanost proper figures released plus the AP homage which was excellent! And then the extra set with those other AP mystery figures, glad to see that hideous evil traveler is back!
