Anniversary Tidings: A Glyos Giveaway

My favorite Glyos moment was the night of the first drop I participated in. I remember holding my breath hoping I would get what I want, and being extremely satisfied when I did.

As for myself, my favorite Glyos moment was the third Robo Force drop. Hadn't heard of Glyos for the first with Genesis Maxx, tried to nab HunDred and Enemy on the second Robo Force drop but had no idea drops could come and go in a split second meaning I completely missed out on that, so when the third drop with Hunter Sentinel happened I was on my game and finally managed to snag...several...got them and the sheer fun of rearranging them altered my toy purchasing habits permanently.

My favorite moment was probably C2E2 2015 when I got to meet the men themselves, Matt and Jesse at the Godbeast booth.. Being able to just hang out for a while and look at and talk about toys was amazing, and both were so generous with their compliments and time. I got to show both my original Goboids prototypes and both were very gracious. I also got Matt to sign my carded Dark Traveler. Matt also showed me a sneak peak of the then unreleased Phase Skeleden. They both also bought a couple crappy resin figures I had made and had on me at the time to give them as gifts. Wont ever forget it.

I think my favorite moment in Glyos was probably my first drop night. The excitement leading up, the teasers, and trying to sneak away from a construction job I was on to be there for the drop on my phone.
I'd found out about Glyos around the first volkruin drop so Sonsidar was the first real drop I got hyped for and it did not disappoint. That and maybe the reveal of the Super Crayboth something about that toy really resonated and made me fall in love with Glyos vinyl.

But the best moment was when I went to DCON and met Matt and Jesse in person.

So many favourite moments, but probably receiving my first box of Glyos – I'd just discovered Gylos through the Little Rubber Guys forum sometime between the The Black Bridge of Glyosar and The Gendrone War drops.

My first box contained a weird mix of mismatched characters, but I love every one of them. Standard Pheyden MK IV, Granthan Corps LSA, Neo Granthan Dreadvalken Sentry, along with various Stealth bits from the Build Station. Matt threw in a Morderius Skeleden (which I'd turned my nose up at because it was bright pink) and I absolutely loved it. Been hooked ever since.

My favorite memory was when I opened my first package from Onell Design. I'd seen Glyos mentioned on a few blogs here and there, and decided to give them a look. I didn't order during a drop. I just picked out a couple of Crayboth. When I got them in the mail a few days later, Matt had tossed in a couple extra Crayboth to go along with the ones I had bought. I couldn't get over how cool it was for him to do that for his customers.

Those little monsters remain some of my favorite denizens of the Glyo-verse.

Just got the 'Escape to the Rift!' bundle, and I love it! Evenollus was a figure that I often overlooked, but the teal color is absolutely beautiful in-hand. The Glyarmor Type Zero is such a great surprise- I'd been hunting it down for a while, and the retro look is every bit as charming as I expected! And Exile Epaxior ties the whole thing together, especially as I'll now be able to display one with the Noboto head and one with the Protoclone head- I've already thought of some fun scenarios to go with this!

Another huge thanks to Kranix for putting on these giveaways- The sense of community is always great here!
