I change my guess. Well, at this point now that figure has been reviled, it almost feels like cheating, but in my mind there is no doubt who this character is. It's a Repoclaimer Soldier, reconfigured into a "Standing" form.

Holy crap, it IS the Villser!

Absolutely LOVE that color scheme too, and all those builds...what a cool concept too, like a more organic-style Buildman with tons of contained builds...fingers crossed these don't sell out immediately and everyone can nab one. (Also super-curious to see what the Villser showing up like this is going to do for plot/lore stuff, guaranteed to be epic on that front.)

I think if we ever got a Villser it would be something closer to the soldier, which ended up giving us swing joints and the hub set.

Something is up with those arms, it looks like. Unless there's just a really deep cut on the "bicep" piece — which there totally could be! — it still really looks like there are two pieces there. But none of the builds show that to be the case at all.

Also, bonus points for demon Chocobo. I need one of these in yellow and orange now.

I'm pretty set on the idea that the bicep/elbow is two parts. It wouldn't surprise me if Matt is only showing the contained builds that don't swivel or split the bicep/elbow parts. C'mon, we all know that those 4 contained builds aren't the only ones this beast can adapt into.

So uh, I know I can't be the only one that thinks we got to see this guy kinda soon. Some other surprises are more than likely to be lurking...

Here's two things I'm hoping to see. I have nothing concrete to really justify these, they're basically things I want to see:

• We had the tease of returning Gendrones. My hope is to see some proper production Renegades, whether it's headsculpt on the Gobon body we know or the full sculpt.
• With this new threat I'd like a Pheyden sporting a Glyarmor upgrade (previously mentioned here)

Very possible, which is why I'd be perfectly cool with some circuitry tampos instead. We've seen some cool ones previously used on Weaponeers and the Bio-Mass Monster so you never know.

Also: there had better be a Guyver colorway in this someday. It would be too fitting for there never to be.

What would you prefer, an opaque PVC with paint or metallic PVC with paint like TGB's Bio-Boosted Mushi?

Speaking of FP homages, which one would you like to see? I'm interested to if Opticon gets an homage. He's gotta be something put together out of accessory sets like Hubs and Phase Arms and maybe even a Phaseon for those fold out arms, right?

I actually thought a vinyl block with paint apps could look the part of opticon but without limbs. Your phaseon idea is really solid. BUT... All of them so far have been travelers so i really dont know.

Also, some general thoughts:

• I wonder if the coming of the Villser was what Elder Exellis was trying to warn everyone about here. The Granthans from this drop also matched the colors of the Villser we're getting tonight, too...
• Bottom left Contained Build is totally a Grip Strider.
• Top left, on the other hand, is maybe an updated Claw Stalker? It doesn't look like the other Voyager builds have been attempted with the Villser mold yet.
• There is still a lot of time before the drop, and we've seen nothing else. It's the Tenth Anniversary, though. We've got some other surprises in store, I suspect.

DSG as the astronauts work fairly perfectly. You're right, most have been Travelers so far but I'll trust Matt's decision if/when he takes a crack at Opticon.

Suggestion! I was thinking The Block would make a good Opticon, being no arms and largely furniiture-like. We haven't had one of those in a while.

"Extra Set" was previously used to discuss the spare Traveler torso and head elements we used to get, so maybe there's something to that?

I would actually think maybe different arm and thigh parts, maybe a new hand or two.

Now, here's hoping we get to see some "savage" and "fusion" builds before the drop!
