Onell 10th anniversary drop AUGUST 3rd

I am getting so hyped for this drop, and I'm loving all the ideas and speculation as to who this new figure'll be. (fingers crossed for a Delphi/Villser here...but gosh dang Pheyaos would be awesome too.)

Seriously can't wait for the drop tomorrow, especially with rumors floating around about Gendrones coming back too, which is awesome, because as a relative noob around here I have yet to pick up a Phaseon or a Gobon and certainly want to pick up some Buildmen after recently getting my first Argen. Fingers crossed.

Last time we saw the return of a long lost character we saw the introduction of the Varteryx. That was followed by the introduction of the Quallerrans which included a few updates on older figures. I wonder if we'll see a new character. Or if Vens right might be the evolution of Argen. After all he was "...destined for more..."

I really like our new cart system. Even during Skullboto Madness it held up.

So will we see heads tonight and then full figures tomorrow including the others for the drop? So far I have Mr. Villser x2 and and whatever the Adventure People homage will be x2 for my buy list.

So I've been playing around with the teased parts to try and get a better grasp of this figure. With the initial tease we saw the a comparison of a Traveler foot with that of this beast. The parts definitely seem to be building a bulkier being than a Traveler. I wouldn't go so far as to say I think this figure is a mid-point between a Traveler and a Mushi but it's probably pretty close.

As I and others have hinted previously, there's an evolutionary vibe going pretty strong. Speculation has pointed to various possibilities but I'm fully set about two opinions. The first is that this figure will represent the Villser Soldier. The second is that it's the Villser Soldier is the product of the Villser corruption that's mutated and evolved Argen. With that said, it wouldn't surprise me if the figure itself was the Villser Soldier and Argen proper would still incorporate Axis joints as he has most of his last releases. Here's some of the fiddling I've done with the teaser pics. I tried my best to also size the parts up either based on the pins or the ports. In the case of the hand and what I'll call the "shell" piece I relied mostly on the width of the creases. I could be totally off on sizing so take this as the crude interpretation that it is. For me, the torso and pelvis were the two parts that sealed the deal for me so-to-speak because the shaping and curves are very reminiscent of the Buildman's respective parts. When you "see" that it kinda helps most of the rest fall into place. I did say most because there's some that I'm extremely curious to see where they go.

That new piece? #10, is it a shoulder piece maybe?

Part #10 is the back side of the center head piece. Look at the vilser skeches posted at the beginning. Part 10 will connect to the chest and there will be attachments on each side. I'm not sure if we have seen the attachments yet, I don't think we have. But it's hard to see it because we are looking at the back not the front.

I think i have gotten just about every piece of this wrong. Lol. Glad it doesnt diminish my enthusiasm.

So something we haven't really been talking about are drop colors and drop list. What's on the menu and what's it gonna look like?

If we are bring out a Villser form, why not other bodies containing Villser energy? Other than Villser and Argen, there was one more being with the same energy, the Dark Traveller.

As for colors, that metallic purple cray from the last drop would be a nice color to start with, but for a standard, maybe not as likely.

If you zoom in you can get a decent look at him, doesn't look like the vilser head from the concepts but it could have changed since then. It definitely does not look like a Delphi...

So my guess is that it is the vilser soldier or a rebuilt and upgraded argen. The croissant goes on the chest vertically makes it look like a breather element connected to the helmet. I can't really see where some of those othe small parts fit so this could still be an alternate build with a second head.

Looks like part 10 is flipped around and then the rounded disc from part 3 is the top of the head. My guess is that what we see is the Villser soldier Standard. Looks to me to be black and gray.

If you took the back of part 10 and doubled it. That may be the weird double build head that Matt mentioned earlier.

It may not be Delphi but it sure as shit looks awesome!

Yeah you may be right about the head, it's so hard to tell sometimes.

I concur with this, though the colors don't exactly look black and grey, just that the red light might be messing around with a blue or indigo.

Also, what is going on with the elbows? New Axis Joint-style half-sphere? Looks like that piece might also be higher on the shoulder, so four total on this iteration on the figure. Kinda gives the arms a unique shape, though...

I'm still going with Delphi. On the passcode record of the Delphi when the three touch down on volkira two of them have helmets on. To me they look alot like the figure in the new blog post??????????

That's the spirit! Never give up hope! I was kind of wondering that myself. Though I do see the resemblance to the Glyanaut as well

I still think it is both. The head in the photo looks Delphi, but take the top off and spin it around and top it with the "backpack" and it could be a Vilser.

This would make even more sense if the Vilser entity is a Delphi experiment gone wrong.
