What if we get a Neo Sarvos/Varteryx situation? New mold with a reversible torso, one side for a Delphi head, one side for a Villser head.

I'd be surprised to see a third armor set so soon after the revitalized efforts to put Skeleden back in the limelight, so I personally wouldn't see that as an option.

Speaking of revitalizing figures, Elder Exellis/Dark Traveller/Lost Sincroid Army have been in limbo for a while. They could bring them back, but more heads to figures could be problematic. Heck, the average number of heads per figure is two with the occasional three from Glyarmor sets and four from special sets.

Besides, we've only had the Rig this year, I'd love to see more vinyl.

Not talking about armor. Think of how an Outlander works, where you can flip the base torso over and get a different look out of it. I'm just saying if the two big characters without figures now are Villser and Delphi, then there's possibility of getting a mold that suits both.

I just realized- What if 'Something long since destroyed" is the Microshin Glyan head? I'm not sure how it'd be viable though, as a whole new mold for one part doesn't seem feasible.

True, but an old sculpt in a new or refurbished mold of other parts could happen...

What if the new figure is along the lines of the wraith. How many can afford it? I know i cant.

Also been thinking about gobon lately. Ya think it will have new paint masks and tampos? Thats a whole lot of blank canvas for Matt to work with. I can see a trans body covered mostly in paint only letting light thru at strategic places like glowing circuits or something. It would be 1 way to pull off opticon (a vinyl block would work too).
Either way, i hope gobon is on tap for this drop.

Jesse from Callgrim always did experimental things that were awesome and that never seemed to be repeated since. The Wraith combined vinyl, PVC, cloth, custom painting, and real weathering and came with a shirt. You could argue they were Custom Corps levels of effort. The up coming drop, if it does feature a new figure, would more-likely be a mass release standard version.

You're right. I'm sure all the custom work Jessie put in probably accounted for a big chunk of the cost, but i can see Matt doing something that uses lots of parts including a hollow pvc (or what we call vinyl) torso and lots of DX paint. Even factory produced soft goods are on the table now.

I just wish he'd give us more teasers and soon. My poor little brain cant speculate much more.

This drop is heralded as the return of Gendrones, I believe- Which gives us the options of Gobon, Phaseon, Buildman, and Robo Force. Matt said a while back (In the Selogo drop teaser, I believe?) that Toyfinity was going to be doing a crossover at some point. I can definitely see a Gendrone resurgence with Gobon, Phaseons, Zeroids, and Argen. All that, in addition to the new mold.. This is going to be a big one!!

Definitely would like to see an upgraded Pheyden. I'd especially like to get some matching accessory sets too. BUT, if the speculation is true about the Villsers I would love to see a callback to '07 when (to my understanding) the Villser was first mentioned and Pheyden was equipped with his Trapping Suit. A new Standard Pheyden with the Glyarmor in Trapping Suit colors would kick ass.

The alternate concept head and phase arm attachment kinda resemble whats going on with the 1000 Toys Glysynth figure. The Microdroid Ranic figures further down coupled with the concept ideas could be an evolutionary step for the Gendrones. Just a guess though. Would love to finally get a Delphi though. Can't wait for the 3rd to find out!
