If I could change anything about Glyos it would be the lack of info until the last minute. I don't understand why drops aren't announced until a couple of days before. I imagine each drop is planned months ahead of time. Even if they don't want to reveal the drop details, it would be nice to have a little more notice of the date.

I'm sure there's good reason for the delays, though we always do get a heads-up during a drop roughly when the next drop will be. (For example, the Thank You post from last month's drop mentioned that the next run was going to be in October.) It's usually enough of an idea to get a rough budget together, even if specifics remain unknown, and there are still a few folks who will no doubt be able to pick something up for a person if money's tight.

That all being said, I hope we get the list soon. It's nice to have a little time to get excited about things, maybe crunch some numbers ahead of time to figure out a list. Heck, making the shopping list is sometimes fun in and of itself, if only to plan out all the possibilities... 8-)

I don't think the drop methods will ever be changed, and I'm fine with that. Usually when there's a lot of build up, I'm not as interested. But when little hints are dropped in the blog comments, for example:

"This new version has full detail lines and follows the basic design of the previous editions, except this one has fully painted upper arms and thighs, as opposed to a full PVC swap. The effect is pretty neat, and gives the MK V a unique place in the succession of Standard Pheyden production runs from over the last 8+ years. Up until now, the parts always used the swap method."

"No Tracker in this round, but some "Standard" representations of a few key characters will appear, beyond just Pheyden MK V.
There is also a secret mode character if you combine two of the upcoming figures, which connects to an old sculpt from our in house archive of strange projects. I've been carrying this re-swapped version around with me since the first test paints came in."

I get super hyped for this kind of drop. I know it's more about timing and money for most, but sometimes reality is nice and pairs up a huge overtime check with a drop that's singing my tune.

I realize that Team Onell certainly doesn't HAVE to let us all know the details before the drop. In fact there are a lot of designer toy folks that keep everything on the DL until drop time. I also realize that things happen. We all live real lives. BUT, I must say with all due respect, for the past year or so it seems that the info stream has crawled to a snails pace - at times. Especially when it comes to info relating to mission details / new figure pics. I think for me the biggest disappointment is when Matt specifically says "details soon", then.....crickets. Reminds me of the Soup Nazi.. NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

It is what it is,eventually we're going to find out. I do typically like to have as much time as possible to plan though. Good luck to all tonight!!

Spectre Skeleden and Reverse Hallowboth Crayboth are the priorities for tonight. I hope the standards stick around a few days, especially Noboto and "double standard" Gobon. :gobon:

As cool as having another shot at Andromeda Pheyden is . . . holy crap, the Dynamic Duo are back. :gobon: :nobo:

Also, the new Cray looks incredible. I don't mind having detail lines be a special thing, because, these days, it's clear how much extra work goes into a figure when they use 'em.

Yeah...Andromeda Pheyden! This drop is sweet. I REALLY love the MVR Noboto as I'd prefer actual swaps instead of paint apps. But, I understand the paint apps can add extra levels of detail and not require running the mold in 3 colors to get the standard Noboto. I'm really curious to see the clear amber color...I'm sure I'll get a few clear amber phase arms to add to my weapons assortment. Standard Pheyden is still the gold standard in the Glyos world. I'm glad Matt didn't paint the shoulder pads or belt. There's really no reason to mess with perfection and I'm thrilled/surprised to see it retain the $8 price tag!

UPDATE: Okay, I'm slow...just realized that clear amber is the Glip color, so I'll definitely get some axis joints in this color as well!

Andromeda Pheyden, huh?
Not sure it will look as cool with the thicker body. But I'm more concerned about the teal paint apps on the hands and feet clashing too much with the orange. Might not go for that.

Will go for a few GITD Skeledens. If I have any spare black I can make a Hades version.

The fully painted guys look great, but I'm pretty happy with the standard versions I already have. It's great that they are at the normal price. Considering that the other standard Pheyden seems to be sold out in the buildstation, maybe these guys are cheaper than previous fully painted figs because they were produced in greater numbers in order to be new buildstation standards. If they stick around, I might grab them later.

Glip is definitely the most exciting of a rwally awesome bunch here. Glad to see a new standard to the monster-hunting duo! And wasn't glip originally a sort of monster storage energy creature?
The rest look really cool too. I am still not sure what my whole order will be, I think I'll have to wing it when the time comes!

Man that was last minute. In the 'please post details sooner' crowd. I don't know what is going to happen come drop time and wish I had at least 24 hrs of budgeting/planning.
But man alot of what is going on in this drop are dreams coming true.. A new deluxe noboto! A spectre skeleden, a super hallowboth!, and man that orange lined on black crayboth is just amazing. Wish we'd see a few more figures with that treatment. A reverse EMD crew.

Was in for a RXH but now I'm thinking I may skip it and leave it for others.

Having my birthday land on Halloween makes this one painful but amazing drop for me.
Really hope next year has the pumpkinhead armodoc! :nobo:

As tired as I've been getting of Skeledens, that Spectre version is one of the ones I promised myself I'd get if one ever got made. And wow, those Crayboth... they don't even look like reverse Hallowboths, they look like obsidian with glowing magma showing in the cracks, love it. First time I've ever thought of getting multiples on a Crayboth...

The "secret" character is a neo Andromeda Pheyden you can make by combining the GITD Skeleden and the Gliporian Pheyden:

I dont know, October's kinda obliterating my budget, I'm looking at things to skip... cool as these deluxe versions of the classics are, I'd rather have the originals and I can dig them up later on. Now if a deluxe Standard Sarvos was in there, then we'd be talking.
