New comic up as well! It's always nice to see more of Niese's art.

Yeah, a new comic! I guess Evenollus must be Sullonev, back and beefed up since his thrashing in Enigma Source. I've always wondered where that guy came from, since I thought Viyer was the only surviving Gatekeeper...

Super excited to see a return of clear blue Axis Joint sets. Those are so useful for making assorted glowing greebles on builds. Overall, the mix of colors was a nice changeup from the Real Type palette, particularly the turquoise.

Not thrilled with the weekday drops, but this one wasn't too bad. Everything stuck around for a while.

Things are starting to go. Just did my second dip and saw Armorvor went bye bye in the night.

Needed me some more protoclones to man the ship.

Broke down and placed a second order: cosmic wave glyarmor, pheyden drone and deniken. Given the close (maybe) color to rig crew I see this Deniken as a buddy and partner in crime of Gearius.

When I originally saw the comic blog post without glasses or contacts on my phone I thought that this was the new noboto head - like a cyclops looking thing.

And this looks a lot like one of the outlander heads from the accessory packs

Ahh it totally does! The one in this picture (which coincidentally is a very similar colourway to this wave).

i wonder what the new noboto head will look like. i know it will be awesome and somehow the word "invader" plays into it based on a comment from the blog. cant wait.

The Bonus Noboto head is either the smooth Proto Sincroid head or the rigid Proto Clone head, the opposite depending on what the Noboto comes with already.

That last drop was all sort of hazy and forgetful for me to be honest, all I remember was Paypal wasn't working so I had to secretly use my phone when my break was over.

I see dead people.

I was quite surprised by the variety featured in this drop. I was also surprised that we have another comic to anticipate feverishly. I missed Viyer and his shenanigans.

Same here. Probably the earliest on a Thursday I've got the ship notice, even earlier than when drops were on Sundays.

hehe, craziest thing during that last drop. for me paypal worked better than it ever has (like ever) but the store just would not work. i kept getting the please try again later, over and over and over again. and i couldnt get any picture to load until long after i checked out. making an entire purchase sight unseen is a bit scary for me. :D

Yeah, I know it's difficult to see something mildly critical of Glyos, but you don't have to worry because I'm done.

It isn't about anything critical being said about Glyos. You're well within your right to compliment, complain or criticize whatever you feel needs it. There's been plenty of folks who have had an issue with one thing or another but by now it's pretty obvious that the way Onell wants to handle their drops is the way they want to handle them. You aren't saying anything new so as much as you may be tired of their handling of their drops there's others that're tired of you bringing it up.

Back to the actual drop, if anybody has a spare Orbitron and/or the Marezoic Nobotos up for grabs LMK.

since what started this sidetrack seems to be based by my comment about buying something sight unseen, i'd like to clarify...
its not the onell store's fault or paypal (when that is wonky for me), its because i connect to the net with a broken winged carrier pidgeon called dial up on an ancient pc that i keep frankensteining together when it breaks.

the truth is, i WOULDN'T buy something sight unseen UNLESS it was Matt or many of the other glyos makers. reputation for always releasing some pretty awesome things regardless of color or whatever. i managed to get what i wanted to buy, just wasnt sure how they all looked beforehand (some i kinda knew based on the colorway of the other figures posted) and i'm totally ok with all of it. i dont need to see it all before the store opens, but before hitting "pay now" would make this frugal guy feel more comfortable.

i personally don't see the "make or break" value of the mission detail list anyway as it always had unmentioned items. any plans made based on that list went out the window the minute the store opened and the ??? figures were revealed. yeah sure, i liked to see the mission details just for the fun factor of getting pumped up, but to not buy things ya like just because it doesnt go down the way ya need it to go down in every minute detail seems pointless and counterproductive especially when you still do have a fair and equal opportunity to buy what ya want.
but what do i know, i'm just an idjit.

back to the topic of this drop... anyone notice just how cool the new lightbox scenery is? the colors pop so hard against that dark background on that alien surface it almost makes ya wanna flinch. :D
like the marezioc protoclone...
Image
he's marching right across that alien surface directly at you and he looks pretty mad about something.

That protoclone looks like he wants to eat my children. Can't wait to see how the noboto head looks. I'm digging the new background too. Feels more organic and alien rather than the block backgrounds of yesteryear.

The list discussion needs its own thread. Someone who cares more than I do can start it.

I'm gonna miss Noboto. The little guy didn't seem to do so well compared to other molds until recently.

*goes back to waiting for yummy PVC goodness*

Truthfully, I'd completely skipped Noboto until the most recent standard release. Since then I've picked up most of the Exiles although not all of them. It's just not a mold that I like in metallic plastic and we'd had a lot of that in the last couple of years.
