RealxHead & Stryker Lock

I'm starting this thread for all things RealxHead and their cross overs with Onell/Glyos.

Styker Lock (in my opinion) is one of the best additions to the Glyos world. I truly hope that in the future we will see additional pieces (arms, attachments, heads, etc).

I dont want to jump the gun because I'm still enjoying Stryker Lock as a new figure, but just hoping that there will be plans to expand over the next years...

I agree. Really like the Stryker Lock guys. They are the only realxhead stuff I own. I've looked a bit on-line to see what else is out there. I'm interested in a little spaceship/flying saucer thing-a-mah-whazzit I've come across. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of those? :stryker-2m: :stryker-2c:

Has there only been 3 releases in that scale? White, Black and Purple. I usually see them on Instagram when he shows the ones he is working on but that is all I recall seeing

Yes, but... Technically, there were two separate releases of the black version. The original Japan release featured a metallic green visor on Mohawk, where the version just released through Onell has a red visor. Crossborg appears to be more or less the same across both releases.

EDIT: Going through photos, I was incorrect. The original black release had a metallic green visor on Crossborg, not Mohawk. Mohawk had a metallic red visor.

I'd be interested to see the purple version. I did a quick google search but couldn't find it. I bought both the new black stryker locks which will be my first realxhead toys. Can't wait to get them in hand, they look great in pictures.

I would love to see some of the bigger figures heads be scaled down onto the stryker lock figures. They've created so many awesome characters. Can't wait to get the 2 black versions I missed out on the white ones and they look fun in the photos

Heres hoping for a gitd release next month so I can make a hades crossborg and maybe for the raiden (cyclops pheyden) to show up eventually as a new head with a stryker scale scarf

Thanks. Thats pretty sweet. I would definitely buy that color if Onell released it. I really like the stryker figure without the paint rub. Whats the best way to follow realxhead and is there anyway to buy his Japanese releases?

You can follow Mori on Twitter at @4921RHND
Purchasing is a bit more difficult. Typically you will need to use a 3rd party or order from a Japanese website that carries his releases (usually a bit pricey.)

The black vinyl is impressive in person. If you hesitated on purchasing these, you missed out! Incredible.

Not as big as I was expecting, but I really like the Stryker Lock.
Unfortunately I'm unsure how often I'll be able to pick one up whenever they appear in the shop.

Speaking of which: is there a particular place you folks pick up RxH stuff/sofubi in general?

Alright, the black is growing on me and my boys all like it better than the white. I still totally love the Stryker Lock stuff and look forward to more colorways, however Matt and Mori go about it. I also don't know how to go about getting my hands on much of Mori's stuff, but it seemed like there was plenty of cool pieces at D-Con last year, so maybe the best way is to find a mule to this year's D-Con?

Finally got my hands on my Stryker Lock today (seems my postman got lost over the weekend)...

These guys are incredible. A bit smaller than expected but I think thier size really puts them on a plane all unto thier own. Love them! Wish I had picked up the white ones but it was bad timing for me... wont make that mistake again.

Dont know why I'm surprised on how great these guys are seeing how it was a MattXMori collaboration. I mean really.... The only question was HOW amazing these were going to be.

ran into a bit of bad luck today.
looks like someone decided to open my package and steal the figures inside.
The weird thing is the package was never left out on my door step it was locked in my mailbox. Only myself and the mailman have keys to open it. So either my mailman stole my figures or someone who was handling my package during transit was a glyos fan.

no one's fault but that one person who decided to steal from me.

post pictures extra pics of your strykers in memory of my package lol

Make sure to show the package to your post office and file a report. It will be covered by USPS insurance (automatically $50 insurance goes with Priority Mail)... so sorry this happened! Did they leave anything in the box or was it totally empty?

Oh man that more than sucks!

But yes! Because its a closed system you have (locked box) definitely go to the post office and demand satisfaction!!!

FOR THE GLORY OF GLYAXIA!!!!!

Or just to get $50 worth of retribution from a systems that hires the most incompetent people. Anyone else feeling as if the post office is getting really bad as of late or is it just me??

Tonight we will mourn the fallen...

it does look like someone chewed it up and spit it out haha

-UPDATE-

I reached out to the Matt himself and asked if the package was insured. He is now sending me replacement figures but i am both thrilled and embarrassed. i hate the idea of taking something for free so hopefully i can get some sort of compensation from the post office and send that money as payment for the replacements. Once again Onell to the rescue. resolving the problem even though it was in no way their fault.
