I am casting more Bio-masters right now, getting ready for DesignerCon. Also, there are a couple of new parts in the works. One is a Tri-hub split and I will for sure have some cast up for D-Con!

Are these ever going to be available on a wider scale, similar to other Glyos drops?

Right now I am focusing on casting them in resin. I want to keep making these and getting them out to people. They are a blast to build with.

The prototypes Marty "The Godbeast" made for me, have been sent to the factory and we got a quote back last year that was just to high the way it was. I went down to Kansas to True Cast studio with Marty and we made some changes in hopes to make the figure easier to cast, and hopefully something a bit more financially viable to produce.

Ahhh, ok. So how does one acquire these figures now? Also, how durable are they?

Right now DesignerCon is the next time they will be avaliable. I will post here on the forum as I finish them. I will also make them avaliable online after the show. I will make sure to post in the forums as they get cast up.

As far as durability goes, they are tough but they are resin. I play with my resin parts all the time. When you combine resin with regular Glyos figures they work great. When the resin is used with other resin parts you need to heat the pieces up (a hair dryer works great) to keep them from chipping each other because there is little give, unlike plastic.

I know I can not be the first to bring this up but what about a pre-order system or crowd fund to get the cash in had to get them started so its not all on you (and your wallet) to make the first step? I am sure this community could reach deep into the couch cushions to help make this a reality. I know I want a freakin' ARMY of these things in production plastic.

Do a Glyaxia run and I bet Balok will fund at least half of it right there

I am thankful and excited by all the people who have come out and said that they would back some sort of funding if I were to do one. That is one of the great things about the Glyos community. I would not be opposed to pursuing that option. Right now the focus is to cast figures for DesignerCon and see if the changes we made to the figures will help make this thing more cost effective.

As far as Glyaxia Colors, that would defiantly be one I would love to see. It is one of my favorite color waves. In fact when the Godbeast made the first batch of Bio-Mass Mutants for me, he made me a pair of Glyaxia for building and displaying them.

Right on my brutha!!!

We have been discussing the options and what you suggest is definitely an option.

We will know more and be ready to figure something out in early 2016 I'm sure!

Hang in there and in the meantime...nothing like tasty Pat B. prototypes to wet the appetite!!!

These are really neat! I love the narwal horn, that's a nice touch...and fun colors. I won't have a booth this year (too busy, urrg)...but I hope to attend Dcon as a guest at least, if I do I'll try to find ya to take a peek at these in person.

Finally have my own Bio-Mass Monster! His name is Diablo and he is having fun in his new home, but he doesn't trust strangers yet (two of the neighbors should be out of intensive care by next week). Can't wait for these to see production, really want to paint one up.
