Here's a 3" solid figure I had printed from Shapeways a some months back that I just recently painted to get an idea of how the first run colorways will appear. Decided to go with the Hades Force color scheme because it is one of my favorite Glyos colorways. Please forgive the gritty texture. Shapeways nylon materials, even when polished, are pretty damn rough. Also my hands have been super shakey lately for reasons I'd rather not get into.

Looks really cool!
If this is released, will the Hades blue be closer to the one used in the Onell colorways?

Yeah. This is just the closest approximation I could get with the paints I currently have on hand. When I get my printer and get the models to be able to behave with it, next step is to get a library of paints that closer match Glyos colors.

Maybe you could ask Onell itself?

Well, that's the plan eventually. Right now I don't wanna bug Matt with this because at this point I'm just some nobody with a pipe dream and shallow pockets.
All things considering, though, I did manage to make a semi-good approximation of the teal using just blue, white, and green. Just needed to be a bit brighter.

Maybe try adding more white?

I'm looking forward to seeing you post a picture of a perfectly printed cube soon.

I personally prefer the smooth look of ABS vs PLA stepping, unless the texture could be incorporated into the design for aesthetics, Id be hesitant to jump on buy a ton of stuff like that. However if the resolution where such that it didn't detract from the figure, Id consider it a non issue. I get kinda picky about 3d printed toys.
from the pic above, looks like you went ahead with the ABS? Or is that the PLA?
