Skeleden looks so wicked when detailed out, particularly with the right color mix -- which you've done. :)

Gosh dang, what have you done? I've never seen an Armorvor detailed that way -- very, very cool. This warrants close study.

The secret is Gundam Markers. I used red and some metallic green. The transparency of the plastic allows for some optical illusions.

Picked this roll of tape during an after Christmas sale, it's essentially a roll of chrome in tape form.

Image

Not really sure what to do with it, I took a shot at trying to chrome the chest and mouth piece of Glyarmor Neo Sarvor.

Image

Given more time, I'm sure I can make it look better, but just applying it on is fairly tough. If you've ever had a Gundam Model kit and it has a sticker that curves, it's the same thing.

so I was just looking through my glyos folder in photobucket and found pictures of a custom I had completely forgotten about:
Image
Image

if I remember right, the idea was to pass it around and have everyone from the october toys board that wanted to, add a piece of customization or expand the build and at the end we were going to give it away but I think I was the last person to ever post anything for it and after I sent it off it was never seen again. does anybody know if this fig is still floating around the community or what its fate is? would have really liked to see this project come to fruition. Especially with what the final intent of the final piece was, it would make me sad if somebody just had it sitting in their collection

Kranix would know for sure where it is by now. I think I got it after you and send it back to him a long time ago.

Dang. Blast from the past. I'll have to check in to see if it ended-up at Onell HQ, as I've totally lost track as to where it went.

Maybe we should try this again...

This is incredible! I don't think I've seen any custom vinyl before, there should be more!

Do you have a name for this behemoth?

Thank you! I've just been calling it the Scorpion. That's what the basic shape reminds me of.

It's funny you should say that - the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it was the Guard Scorpion boss from the beginning of Final Fantasy VII!

First came the Orcavors. When Marty Hansen's Kabuto Mushi was created, they evolved into larger Orcs and were renamed the Death-Wah Klan!

One of my earliest customs has been reborn. I made him in the early days of Glyos, from the first glow in the dark phase arm set made available from Matt and company. The eye has been everything from a key chain to a necklace. If you look at the hand you can see the wear and yellowing.
