What exactly IS Glyaxia? - A Theory

This is something I've always pondered. And it all started with a question; what is Glyaxia? Okay, yes, it's the name of the yellow/blue drops. But there's more to it than that.
Over the years, Glyaxia's signature symbol-the two crossing V's-has appeared on a VERY large amount of figures. There are different divisions, different chains of command, different species. But are there?
Over the years, the only figures to be released in Glyaxia colors have been Armorvors, Noboto, Glyans, Travelers, and some vinyl (like the Rigs and Armodocs). Well, the Noboto's are Protoclones created for Glyaxia, and the Armorvor was just in disguise (hence the name "mimic"). So the only sentient life we know of in Glyaxia is the Glyans and the Travelers.
This really begs the question, what's the point? Why does Glyaxia exist? What is their purpose?
Well, oftentimes they have done things that would be seen as villains; sending a Syclodoc after the Council of Travelers, scavenging the remains of Argen to create powerful warriors, and so on. But is this really evil? The Esedeth Mobile Patrol was created to secure ruins on a planet, presumably for research. This gives the idea that Glyaxia may just be looking to learn more about other planets. They even captured two Crayboth to learn more about the species. Should they have captured two sentient creatures? No, but it was for the purpose of learning, even if their ways of completing that mission could have been done differently. The way I view it, is that Glyaxia is a "group" set on learning more about the Glyos universe, even if it means performing actions they shouldn't.
So, in the end, the Glyaxia may not necessarily be evil as many would likely assume they are, they still have the intention of exploration, research; learning.
Well, that's it to my little ramble
. If you feel that I missed something I'd like to hear it.
