In honor of a brand new year, let's celebrate all the things yet to come by sharing some of 2015's bounty! Specifically, by giving away to one lucky user
the trio of prizes below:
Alternate heads and limbs also included!
Both Mohawk and Crossborg heads included!
Alternate Argen head and unused parts also included! So how do you enter? Read on to find out!
What was your favorite Glyos moment of 2015? Simply post in this thread with your answer, and congrats! You're entered into the drawing!
The winner will be chosen at random using RANDOM.org's
Sequence Generator. Each user will be assigned a number based on the order of their post (e.g. the first reply in-thread will be "1," the second reply in-thread will be "2," etc.), which will then be used for the Sequence Generator.
Now, keep in mind that every user only enter
once, so only your first post will count. This is because a thread like this -- discussing our favorite moments from 2015 -- might lead to some fun discussion, which means people posting multiple times to reply to other users. For simplicity's sake, I'll keep updating the entrant list (with corresponding numbers) in a section below.
The cut-off for entries
has passed. The winner will be announced in-thread
Tuesday night (1/19) at 9:00 pm and PM'ed for a mailing address for the prize, which should go out shortly afterward!

I may be alone in this, but Ankram and the introduction of the Skeledens rank pretty high for me personally. It is a color scheme I still fervently collect.

For me, I think when I saw the pink colored figures. I have always loved M.U.S.C.L.E. Men. I even made a custom build based on the planet-like Kinnukiman using Gobon ball pieces and joint sets.

The Glyarmor was soooo epic for Glyos w/ 2 new characters being created in the Glyoverse.

My favorite moment has got to be receiving my FIRST Glyos figure, a Sentinel from Toyfinity! It started a long obsession that involves a collection of +100 figures

favorite moments (in no order)...
the inception of a dedicated Glyos forum. it was awesome how it all came together.
getting the Manglor Skeledon. it quickly became my fav figure.
the zullbeast was an unexpected surprise and when i got it in hand, i just loved it (still do)
sad moments of the year...
missing the glyarmor drop (really wanted a white glyarmor and the glow sarvos)
missing the reverse hallowboth.
there not being a halloween colored skeledon. (Matt, in 2016, PLEASE make a skeledon in the orange & black with some green highlights like the halloween mushi)

January or Feburary; these were my first drops of my glyos collection. It was nice how both had something special about them. January with the Granthans

and Feburary with the skeledens.

I had the most fun, I think, with the Ultra Bronze. It was one of the few "big drops" I could get in on, and I still have just a ton of it lying around, waiting for me to throw together. Ultra Bronze, the Met Teal/Blue, and Gunmetal are hands down my favorite colors Glyos has dropped in in a while.
Also, shoutouts to the Black Bridge of Glyosar. Even though I didn't get a whole lot out of that drop, the idea of a small, contained little fantasy adventure team created within the greater Glyos system was really charming, and I'd love to see more of that kinda one-off deal.

I think my favorite would be the Glyarmor/Villser Core release that just happened. I'm new to the Glyos world, but after looking back and seeing all of what's come in 2015 before I really thought that this past drop was something special. Plus the introduction of the Varteryx head added a lot to the lore that was exciting to me, I loved being in on the ground floor with the release of something with so much potential for future releases and builds! Also I just love the Villser Core color so vibrant, and the metallic gives it some much depth.
A close second is Marty's Titan Mushi, I'm stoked to get these in hand!
Honestly though, it's kinda amazing to see what's all been released in a single year from Onell, is it true that 2015 brought 2 original Armor sets? Skeleden and Glyarmor? That's crazy awesome! I can't wait for what's to come.

My gut reaction was to just quote this with an obnoxious "this" image or something, but the answer is actually C2E2's Hornet Mushi. It's neither glow in the dark nor a Robo Force release, so to those passingly familiar with me (and why would you be) it might seem like an odd choice. But (warning: mildly sad story) my father's mother has been in declining health for the last few years, and so things that remind me of the trips we used to take to see her when I was younger have a warm and fuzzy little target area. And one of the things I used to love playing with at her house was a Hornetroid out in the garden shed that nobody really seemed to know where it came from. It also doesn't hurt that it's a pretty killer color scheme (and was my first Glyos thing packaged in anything more elaborate than a baggie with a header card).
I should also mention (warning: even more mildly sad story) that it was muled for me and yet, through the loss of the OT forum, I don't even know who did it anymore! So if you picked up my Hornet Mushi...thanks again!

The release of the new standard or double standard Noboto and Gobon was my favorite moment. I love that travelling duo.
The Glyarmor was my 2nd favorite release of the year. The armor, new limbs, new heads...too cool!

My friend, Jason, introduced me to Crayboths. He showed me his collection and I was hooked. The downside, missing the ones from the last drop.

My highlight would have to be the M.U.S.C.L.E. flesh coloured Pheyden. I was late to the party and only managed to get my hands on the one with maroon paint apps, but the unpainted one looked insane!

As much as love the actual items from the many talented creators its the experience of Glyos I love. So normally I would say the days and hours leading up to a drop especially landmark ones where new molds are brought in but really, the best Glyos experience hands down for me in 2015 was DCon. Not only because I got to meet up with some of you fellow crazy people but I got great face to face time with the designers and talk to them about thier creations which was a real treat.
Being a fan of stuff like Transformers and Star Wars, I feel disconnected and its really just a singular buying and displaying game really but with Glyos its got a real family feel to it all. Its not just about buying stuff to sit on a shelf or how much money one can spend but the overall experience of the world that is created not only by Matt, Marty and all the other talent but the offshot narratives we all go into on our own.
Ok, I'm done gushing

Designercon 2015. I love collecting the toys, but to me, getting together with the guys and being able to hang out was the best moment of 2015 for Glyos.

I loved MUSCLE Men when I was a kid. I have a couple in my collection and the Super7 MOTU versions as well. For some reason, my wife thinks they're all gross. The pink fleshy color doesn't work for her.

I actually learned of glyos early this year, and probably enjoyed delving into the backstory of the Onell universe more than anything. the next most exciting thing is probably having a new figure arrive and recognizing how surprisingly cool it is.
