Quick question...are there any definitive differences between the 5 releases?

Slight tints and clarity in plastic is about it.

I was curious b/c I'm working on completing the series. So I guess I could just use any 5 stealths as "placeholders" b/c the variations seem to be almost to small to notice.

Others may disagree depending on their level of visual acuity, but the Stealth figures released beginning around the first Stealth Armorvor have been pretty consistent in terms of clarity, tint and PVC flex. The first Stealth Crayboth was released after the first Stealth Armorvor.
Before then, some of the Stealth releases had a noticeable yellow or blue tint, or were more or less flexible than the current PVC.
To put it simply, all of the Stealth Crayboths look and feel pretty similar to me.

Well... Mk IV has a better clarity if carefully compared side-by-side. Other than that, I only know which is which if they come from the sorted section of my collection.

That and Mk IV was the first clear Cray' whose head comes off relatively cleanly; so if you're willing to let me boil your Stealth Crayboth, I can at least tell if it's Mk IV or V.

Test how easily the parts separate. As someone who owns a figure from the first ever wave of Glyos, I can definitely say the more recent plastic is much softer.
