Onell September 2017 Drop: Gobon's Return?

Our next wave is set for mid-September and will see the return of the Glyknights as well as some expanded Gendrone (Gobon) action to take on the Villser!

Will we be seeing the retired Old War Gobons be recommissioned? Will we see the Renegades come out of hiding to face their old foe? Speculate away until we receive further information!

If Gobon is going to return I expect at least one new Quallerran to go with it. There has been mention of a new bonus head set. Perhaps there's a production Renegade included there?

Ive always want to get some Gobons, but there wasnt an order limit during the metallic waves. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a few.

I haven't seen or heard anything that'd help make my case that the Renegades are coming but I personally want to see them in some form. As I mentioned recently,
I like to see some proper production Renegades, whether it's the Renegade headsculpt on the Gobon body we know or the head with full body sculpt. I also mentioned seeing a "circuity" tampo that'd mimic the lines of the Renegade body sculpt. We just had soft goods pop up with the Glyknight capes so some soft goods ponchos/capes for the Renegades seems like a no-brainer.

Whether or not it turns out to be Renegades it'll be cool seeing ole' Gobon back after almost 2yrs since the Double Standard came out October 2015.

Honestly, I feel this thread came out too soon. Basically hot off the tail of the thank you post, with other lines getting their waves out the pipe too. The wave will come, it'll be fun, and everyone is gonna love it. It's how we do and we do fine as always.

I'm excited for Gendrones! I'm hoping for Gobon, Phaseon, and Buildman in matching colors for a proper team.

Man I'm really liking the Gobon in the pic. with all the lines everywhere. Makes for many paint options. I'd rather see it with the classic Gobon head, but awesome nonetheless.

If I had to guess, a Gendrone-centered wave that already includes Gobon would probably include a Buildman (the most common Gendrone) and a Phaseon (I mean, hey, if he's taking out the other molds already...). For the record, I've only been on the forums for a year or so, and have only been into Glyos since around 2014, so I've got less experience with this than most.

It's been a while since the last Metallic wave and sadly there wasn't any Gobon, but what's overlooked is that there also wasn't any Noboto. When it comes to it, Phaseons will only be in a wave if it's a metallic Argen, Gobons will be in a wave with Nobotos, but Nobotos can exist without Gobons.

Yeah, I've been lurking on the forum for a while, but that was actually my 1st post on here.
I'm glad you brought up "Metallics" because Matt also mentioned, in regards to Sept. release, that Glyknights would be returning, so that along w/ what you said is giving me +++ vibes on gettin some great offerings come Sept. Fingers crossed for the new DX double armor Skeleden making an appearance as well w/ the knight theme.

Since this drop will also be the return of the Glyknights, fantasy-themed Gendrones seem like a big possibility!

Also, as a sidenote, I'm absolutely loving the increased 'theming' of each drop; Synergy between each new release is incredibly important, and I feel that the recent drops have been absolutely fantastic in making every single figure feel fully connected with each other.

Also, as a sidenote, I'm absolutely loving the increased 'theming' of each drop; Synergy between each new release is incredibly important, and I feel that the recent drops have been absolutely fantastic in making every single figure feel fully connected with each other.

I will admit, a small part of me does miss drops like the old "faction" ones. Sonesidar always has and will be one of my favorite Onell drops. I'm for more of those deserty Glyan drops we got a few months back.

Although I like that whole terracotta soldier idea (takes me back to a World History project from my Freshman year actually) my mind can't help but continue the runaway train speculation of the Renegades. Specifically, some rust colored ones perhaps?

Whoawhoawhoa!!! Looks like Purple is confirmed for this drop!!

Also, I have a theory about the 'new alliance' that's mentioned in the post- It could either be Gendrones and Glyknights, or maybe Argen and Enyriun teaming up once again, maybe to fight the Villser? No matter what, I'm excited.

That is Enyriun's Gendrone Liberation insignia, so maybe the Phaseon is back after all. We do know that Glyknights and Gobons are both coming back for this drop, too. If I had to guess, maybe the threat of the Villser is enough to bring the Renegades out of hiding, teaming them up with the Varteryx and the Glyknights, and possibly bringing back a restored Enyriun along the way?

Less than a week to find out, at least!
