I haven't gotten any glyos figures in over a year because it just got to be too much with a kid and house payments and all that life stuff. I loved this wave though as glitter and glue orange are two of my favorite color/effects. After my hiatus I was thrilled to get everything I wanted. I hope I my order sticks. It would put a bad taste in my mouth to come back and have something happen. I love this toyline and am glad that they have been able to be so successful with it but man has it gotten stressful to follow.

I came in 20 minutes late to the drop and everything was still available. I should have known something was off then. My order went through but I am not sure that is necessarily a positive indicator given the PayPal shenanigans. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

One thing that's nice is that even though there were obviously issues, Matt always goes out of his way to make things right even when the issues were out of his control. Hopefully there isn't to much damage control for him to deal with

I've a sneaking suspicion that things might not be so great. I understand these things take time to figure out. But was anyone here around for any of the previous PayPal snafus? How long did it take fix? My big concern is I've got conflicts nearly every night through Sunday. So if there's a refund and reset of the drop. I might not be able to make it. :?

All my bs aside, I hope everything is going okay for Matt and company, gotta be stressful to have this happening again. Hope they didn't loose any sleep over it.

I think the worst Paypal kablooie was the Ivory Noboto drop. Store was down for a few days. Wasn't the very first Gylaxia drop a big mess too? I showed up just after that one.

Point being - Onell has survived many Paypal obstacles, and everything has been fine, and Matt and Co are the best at customer service.

Last time we broke Paypal was the Dreadvalken drop. Matt ended up doing a second run of Dreadvalken Overlord Phanost to cover those who got shafted by Paypal.

I could see that, however, with so many awesome figures in this drop, my guess is there could potentially be a lot of people who got shafted on multiple figures...could get pricey to second run of all of them. Though I wouldn't be opposed to picking up multiples if there was a restock. At this point I'd be satisfied with 1 of each.

Well I showed up a little late to the drop, so my hopes aren't really sky high on me getting any figs and just getting a refund, but it's really a shame this happened again, Matt and his crew are great with dealing with these kinds of problems, and to be honest out of all of us here whenever we have placed an order for something hasn't Matt given us little extras here and there. So as I said I'm not going to be angry if I get an e-mail saying that due to paypal screwing up my order has to be refunded, disappointed that I missed out on a few great figures sure, mad no, at least not at Matt.

With that being said, am I the only one that saw the Cyclops figure and thought about the dark army figures from Gundam?

Honestly, anybody that gets a refund for a figure they missed should feel fine about it. It sucks if a paypal inventory issue gives us some false hope, but if we get a refund it just means we really didn't order a figure before it sold out. I wouldn't expect a 2nd production run of anything from this drop.

Manually sorting through all the processed orders by paypal time stamp and tracking the inventory on each figure has to be pretty time consuming, especially on the ones with an order limit of 1.

I thought exactly the same :)

Love the homages.

That would be kind of cool, super awesome if there was a new body that kind of has that roman sort of look to it.

My order went through, but like others it was hanging out a little while before finishing up. It's nuts how a "small" drop can have a "big" hit on yr wallet! Loved what was offered, those two Crays had some wacky colors...what were they referencing if anything? Would've loved to have seen Glyarmors in those colorways, they were weird.

Yes! I'd like to see a Venjorun (red/black) Glyaromor leading a pair of Volkriun greens!

Speaking of which, does it seem like there's a lot less talk these days? The Glyos forums have never been super active, but things feel slower ever since this new forum was made.

Maybe even a "Gundam" (the actual MS) homage. I'd really want a Gyan homage.

Update on the site. Looks like Gotherrus oversold so a few later orders are getting refunded, but the rest seemed to survive. Shop reopening by Monday, I assume the leftovers will be up then.

YES!!

We broke Paypal again, I know it's not a really great thing, because it'll always cause trouble for Matt and get the store closed for a bit, but come on how many groups can boast that they broke a major internet pay sight like Paypal on several occasions. That and each time we do it Paypal has to learn from their errors and put new systems in place to prevent it from happening again, so in away we're doing a good thing each time we break them. :arg10:

Yet we still break it no matter how many times they fix it

look at it this way, once you get your figure up and running, these are things waiting for you, I can already see it.

Paypal: oh god another Glyos compatible figure release, (*CRASH!*) EVERYTIME!

On that note, I know of nemo factory, god beast, Ni stuff, toyfinity, Banimon, Spy monkey, four horsemen, and Call Grim, does anyone know any other glyos compatible toy makers?... aside from Boi master, and the surgeon. Nothing wrong with those two magnificent creations, it's just I know of both and since the surgeon is fighting off shadow demons in limbo, and the Bio master figures are awesome I just can't afford one of those resin pieces. I was just curios on other Glyos creators coming up with their own creations out there for production.

Given they're "Aginnex", the colors strongly remind me of the various aliens in the F-P Imaginext line, like the Ion Scorpion: http://www.16bit.com/fotd/140124-imaginext-ion-scorpion-space.asp

Rise of the Beast is Glyos Compatible! And there's a few days left to get in on the kickstarter for series 2...

Mikemz's Zullbeast is also Glyos Compatible and it's been a while since his last release, so I'm kinda feening for a vinyl monster fix.
