hi,
First post here from a relative noob to the Glyoverse.
My love affair with little plastic lifeforms started in the early 80s with Micronauts , I was lucky to grow up near a town with a great 'bankrupt stock' shop meaning cheap access to Shogun Warriors and various other obscurities rarely seen in the UK.

Obviously being in the UK makes it very difficult to get a Glyos collection going , but I have a pretty specific area of interest in terms of colourways and character designs.

Lurking here over the past few months I am simply staggered by the level of ingenuity of some builders on the scene, totally inspiring stuff...thanks

Ian

Welcome to the boards, Ian! One thing you may want to do is reach out to some of our other UK-based members, as I believe there's already a massive shipping arrangement that's been going on for some time. Let us know if you have any questions!

Hi Ian, I'm from the UK too! So what are the specific colourways and characters that you're into?

I need to get in on that! Shipping is pretty brutal these days, especially after Brexit tanked the value of our British pounds!

thanks for the welcome...
yeah shipping is a stinger for sure especially since Brexit and I am deffo interested in combining orders in the future.
As for designs and colourways...well my route to Glyos was via getting a big lot of mixed parts from Ebay, cleaning them up from the previous owners customisations and working out what is what...
I ended up with a bit of everything but found myself being drawn to the feel and look of the Ni-stuff Outlanders (possibly due to the slightly 'Micronauty' humanoid head sculpt)
As for colours I like bright clashing contrasts like pink/light blue and yellow/grey...also GID and coloured translucents...
I have also picked up a new Kabuto Mushi and a Crayboth Lord and a few Crayboth.
I had no idea what to expect from the Crayboth but can totally see why people end up with loads of the little beasts:)
