Just simple comments, please: great, okay, changed-my-life. No allusions to the story in any way.

I see very few movies in the theater and am wondering if this one is worth it. And I don't trust JJ Abrams since Star Trek...

I felt that it was kid of flat, did not fit the hype. Nothing blew me away. Definitely better (more fun) than the prequel garbage. Pretty standard JJ Abrams fare.

I think it was good - very good. I avoided the hype and as a child of the late 70's / early 80's this movie FELT like Star Wars (warts and all). If you don't get to hyped you should enjoy it and it light years better than the prequels imho.

I found it so-so. Skipped the hype, found it largely unoriginal at times and poorly written at others. Hoping for better from the writer/director of Looper for 8 and 9. 7 could have been much stronger with someone like Feige sitting on Abrams in the day to day choices.
