The Glyos Connection

As fun as the fun times are, weirdly for me the best part of being part of the Glyos community is when shit hits the fan and you see everyone pull together and not only find a fix, but also have an incredibly positive outlook the whole time. This one of those times, and thanks to the hard work by 4xM there's a forum after the forum. So on that note...

Planet Banimon is a Glyos-compatible independent toy line by Rocket North, out of Boston, MA. The characters are all based on the Banimon comic, which started as a 3-issue printed comic and has since had installments run in a variety of different media. We've also ventured into clothing and art projects over the years, and try to get involved in at least a couple of Glyos-related collabs every year. Some links:

Hey Kranix, same to you! There is a mini-project in the works that might/should be happening before the end of the year, but no new production runs until early 2016.

And then theres http://www.bamboomagicpillow.com but Im not entirely sure it has anything to do with Banimon either. But Ive been wrong in the past.

So after stating the rest of the year is going to be fairly uneventful production release-wise, it's good old retraction time. Yes, we WILL actually have a little something happening after all. It's been a while since we did a Buildstation-style run and that's exactly what's gonna be on tap - and this one should make the Monster Color fans happy in particular. More news and pics to come as the little guys make their way over here from China...

Hey FM, sorry for the temporary silence, we had hoped to do a mini-release before the end of the year, the stuff is already here and ready to go, but quite frankly there is once again so much Glyos-related stuff going on over the holidays that we decided to wait rather then adding to the noise. Trying to coordinate schedules has always been a challenge, but over the past year it's gotten exponentially more difficult, even though we only do like 3-4 drops a year.

So anyway, we are going to use the extra time and work on adding a bit of new content as well as a small CC-type component for the drop and try to make it worth the delay. Looking at mid-to-end January right now as a soft target.

Im with you on this. People must not know how freakin awesome these tanks are in any glyos line up. I have quite the battalion and still think about grabbing a few more.
