The Glyos Connection

For those unfamiliar with the concept, here's how it works:

• A piece or part is chosen.
• Builders attempt to use this part in as unique a way as possible. (This can include a really nice parts usage [NPU] or finding a way to use as many of the seed part as possible in a single build.)
• Everyone marvels at the WIPs and final creations.
• After a certain date, we'll set a poll and choose a winner who gets to set the next seed part.

So, let's give it a shot!



The humble Gobon Sphere. A staple of many spare parts bins, this piece has had many opportunities to shine in its own right. But just what can be done with a few of these round hubs? What haven't we seen before?



Let's give it a shot! The new "deadline" will be November 30th, to give people plenty of time to come up with some fun applications of the part. Good luck, everyone, and hope to see some cool builds soon!

Counting the posts until some one says "Gobon balls" (this one being discounted).

I got a whole freezer bag full of those balls, now to figure out WTH to do w/ them?!?!?

I always liked employing them as feet or faux rollers.

Awesome build! I'v already made something for the seed challenge after the first picture inspired me to get building. I will try to get pictures up as soon as possible.

A turret used by other soldiers. If you want to build one, I used a gobon blaster and a buildman.

I've always liked the idea of them as giant boxing gloves. For the larger bulky builds there perfect for that.

Finally got my picture up. The first item I thought of was a gumball machine. I found a translucent piece and came up with this!

Here's my submission, trying to incorporate new piece's, I came up with this Blood red scorpion Mushi. Kind of a Pirate theme with the spear hand.

Discovered in Pasadena, a Scoptic.

Nothing too horribly exciting.
