This was over at Brian six's table. Shadow master made him, he showed it to me a while ago and I was waiting for the con to pick it up. He's a cool little missile launching cyber Cray.

Thanks! KD is one of my favorite musical artists ever since my early teens in the 90's. Made that in anticipation of a concert I was gonna attend week before last that got cancelled because he had laryngitis.

While we wait for the Titan Mushi to arrive, I took some paint to a clear Mushi I had lying around and decided to make a custom based on one of my favorite cinematic bipedal insectoids, the Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth (Or MST3K The Movie). It's similar to the insect life on our own planet, larger of course. I will admit, clear coating eludes me still, but here a heavier than intended spray created a shade of blue closer to the actual suit, so happy accident.

Wouldn't the rounder head with bigger eyes have worked better though?

That was the first thought, but the ant head doesn't have the grooves I needed for his brain veins.

"The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace."

One of my favorite game series of all time and this was the first thing I thought of when I saw the Glyarmor. And hey, super armor made by hyper-intelligent bird people? How perfect! The molding skewed this one closer to the SNES-era design but there's some modern touches in there for color, and I had some fun with the extra axis armor parts.

What, no "busted-a-zit-on-my-shoulder" version? Though I gotta say, there won't be any danger of forgetting those piano lessons with that kind of cranium.

References aside, this is really well done!

Okay. You win. This is also really well done, TJ, and makes me hope that an "official" colorway like this is in the making. The Morph Ball is a nice touch, too.

That being said, will we be seeing a Chozo Statue in our future? ;)

I have a question to any customizer. Are Gundam Markers appropriate for painting PVC? I've tried once before but I'm not sure how well alcohol-based paint holds.
