Well the shop says in stock, but when you check out they kick it out of the cart and it says sold out.

I sent him an email, but haven't heard anything one way or the other.

Yeah they should re-release them. I want to buy lots of these guys. Obviously lots of people missed out or are getting refunded.

Repaints in Wave 2 will be nice, but lots of us want Wave 1 in massive quantities.
